Understand the calculation and assumptions

Monthly SIP: M × ((1 + i)^m − 1) / i × (1 + i), plus the initial investment × (1 + i)^m. M is your monthly contribution, i is the annual rate divided by 12, and m is total months. Contributions occur at the beginning of each month. Assumes a constant return without taxes, fees or missed contributions. Market returns can be negative; this model explores non-negative return assumptions.

All inputs are user-provided assumptions. Displayed rupee amounts are rounded to whole rupees; these are projections, not guaranteed outcomes.

How does the SIP calculator work?

Enter a monthly contribution, duration and expected annual return to model a systematic investment plan. Add an optional initial investment to see how a starting balance and regular contributions could work together. Expected return is an assumption and can differ from actual market outcomes.

Use estimates to explore possibilities

Try different assumptions to understand how time, savings and return affect your plan. Consider your circumstances and consult an appropriately qualified adviser before making financial decisions.
